i was not a fan personally, my coworkers were very closed off and thought they were better than everyone else bc they worked there longer, customers were rude, and very it’s repetitive. At my location i got almost no training, and the work environment is very stressful everything needs to be done quickly while it’s really hot in a smaller space with many people witch makes it worse.
I kinda enjoyed for the free food and the good coworkers but some customers were not very understanding
I enjoyed working at chipotle simply because of the repeat customers who come in daily, have the same orders and bring their families. They are polite, they see how hard we work and understand the struggle of trying to get hundreds of people in and out in a timely manner. I do have an issue with management at my specific location. I worked near a collage so it was younger people in charge (18-25) unfortunately they let the fact that they make $1.00 to $3.00 more than anymore influence how they interact with people who are the same age or older. They also still had the mentality that work is a place to socialize and have fun. I'm not saying don't enjoy your job, but there are ways to make the workplace enjoyable and still WORK. This is important because again we see HUNDREDS of people a day, work in a warm to hot environment if your upfront and still need to be moving efficiently to maintain cleanliness and customer service.
I actually enjoyed working for chipotle I worked for them for 3 yrs learned after a while everybody became a family...I’ve met some good people I learned how to cook i got my customer service skills up alot I learned the ins and outs of esm inventory I had a great experience it was some downs but I stuck through it...
