I used to work for Tom Thumb (a division of Albertsons), and the process was basically what @Alexander Montoya said! Probably different depending on what job you're applying for, but I did two interviews (first with a general manager, second with the store manager) and met my department leader the same day I did my orientation! Determines if you get an interview first of all , must have a green green score , so strongly agree or strongly disagree on the assessment answers no middle of the road don't know crap be assertive , next if your work history is favorable and your a legal us citizen not a chomo felon or damn crook I might call you to come press the flesh and try and wow me and after 26 years running stores I don't wow easily so come for your interview , slacks , button down shirt tucked in with a collar and belt this is crucial too clean shoes biggest smile you can fake son anyway we'd talk pay , I'd low ball you , you take my offer after I sweeten the deal by telling you how great Albertsons is ( they truly are I worked there 18 years loved it too)and their stellar benefits package and 401 k your kids will prolly get cuz retail is a heart attack job , but anyway we'd go over policies my lengthy and very demanding expectations , I'd send you to see Dr pecker checkers for the whizz quiz if that was kosher then I'd know your just an alcoholic but that's tolerable then you'd get scheduled to work prob training on the computer for several days if not a week then I'd have you on my successful team and ride you like a circus donkey you'd both love me for making you a damn retail rockstar and hate me for the way I accomplished it by the way I was a key carrying salaried manager for Albertsons LLC , Grocery Manager and Assistant Store Director , I hired and fired with the same look on my face every day good luck
