Hi Belinda: Congratulations on your job seeking! You are fine, by the way. There are many women who devoted their earlier years to raising a family and now are job seekers! I would suggest seeking "entry level" roles. Little to no experience is expected in these roles - however, don't sell yourself short! You DO have experience that perhaps you aren't considering. You have organizational skills, skills to be detailed when managing a household, especially when it comes to managing a budget. You likely have "conflict resolution" when managing children! Perhaps you were a "homeroom Mother" when your children were young and you volunteered to bake. I am just assuming that you have children so I apologize in advance if I am insulting you or any of our readers. So, those are my suggestions. Develop a resume even if you do not have formal "on the job" experience. You have customer service, organization, attention to detail, management experience. Go to Google and look at formats for resumes. Also, Indeed.com is an EXCELLENT place to go to look for a job. Much luck and best wishes to you!
