I'm in this boat. I've been doing healthcare for 20+ years. Every job has been abusive, stressful, short staffed...I'm so burned out I want to get out of the medical field all together. I like to do so many things for fun or hobby but it's always different when you HAVE to do it for pay. I don't want to get into debt for school either.

Well, I know where I’ve been, what I want and am just taking my time to find what works for me. Money isn’t my only interest now.

If you don't know what kind of job is best for you, consider the job experience that would make you happiest. Do you want to sit all day or be active? Inside or outside? Flexible shifts or a set schedule. Collaborative environment or solo work? What interests you and makes you feel good? And obviously pay range. Then work backwards from here and look for jobs that meet most of qualities that work for you :)
