Dorcas: You MAY have some luck putting fliers on doors in your neighbors, withing walking distance. HEY NEIGHBOR! I live nearby & am available for baby sitting, staying with an elderly loved one & making sure they eat & take their medicine. I can walk your dog, house sit, do light yard work, take your trash out, do light house cleaning.

If you also have no computer, you can neatly write these skills on a sheet of paper.

Not sure where you live but, there is public transportation. I took a bus all over. And as someone else said, there are a ton of companies that went remote. I'm actually training for a job at home now. Takes getting used to but beats no job.

If you have money to Uber or Lyft, absolutely. You can also ride the bus, plenty of ppl do it. Doesn't mean that once you get a job, you have to continue riding the bus. There are many apps that allow you to work today and get paid tomorrow. The pay ranges, depending on location but you should be able to make at minimum $12/hrs. There's jobs that pay more but that should give you an idea of what to expect. Also, try temp agencies. Some will even help you put a resume together...or you can Google a resume template for free.
