Library Assistant (soon to be let go from temp position)
I am desperate for advice in how to deal with chaotic situations such as lots of people all talking at once to patrons at the circulation desk in my workplace, and also how to learn to "think fast on my feet" when a patron raises a problem or complaint. Sometimes it's appropriate to refer the problem to the manager or supervisor but other times not, and it is in the latter situation that I've made some mistakes which have cost me jobs and opportunities.

if fired from a job and asked why you leave how do you address the question
Hi Cora: I just say that there wasn't a cultural fit, and then I move on quickly from the question by addressing my own strengths and skills. Don't over apologize or try too hard to explain; just address it briefly and then move on. What would you say?

Why did you leave this job?
