Just had my interview with the agent at unemployment today. My former employer has 2 days to respond. Company closed my local office and their lease is up in May. They will not be renewing. Our last day on-site was March 21. We worked from home from that point on. I had submitted my 2 week notice back in February because I thought I had a new job lined up for Mid-March and the COVID hit. Now, they are on a hiring freeze and I have 0 guarantee that there will be a job waiting for me on the other side of this fiasco. I cannot and will not work downtown. I have a chronic health condition and the commute is grueling. Hoping I am approved. What a nightmare.. #coronavirus

I had a lot of respect from the inmates. Therefore I could pretty much say anything and it went. We both knew where we were at . Truthfulness the respect gets u a long way with people. I am a strong believer in that. Don't take advantage of any situation. The next resort is to involve your supervisor.

Does the manager still do the hiring or someone in corporate now? Manager at store I interviewed with hired me on spot and when I did process on line for background check I got job offer there to now the site I applied threw says they hired someone else. The manager that hired me said she didn't no anything about it, do maybe it was for one of the other CVS'S I applied for. Does anyone have anything they can tell me about this? please help?

I recently left CVS after 13 years in the pharmacy. I hadn't had a raise in 6 years because at $15 I was "maxed out". they make it almost impossible to become full time again after going part-time, and you have to jump through hoops for almost a year to get benefits (ONLY available in March) I miss the customers though..

I work in the pharmacy at CVS and sometimes I feel so bad when I ring out people and their insurance doesn't cover everything. I do my best to see if there is anything I can do to help. Some of them get crazy expensive! Why do prescriptions cost so much???
