They wont give me a chance

I have been filling out applications for any job with them in Lufkin T exas but they have not called me once except for out of town jobs. I wish they would just give me a chance then they can see how hard of a worker I am. They won't be sorry that they hired me if they just would

Question?

I sent a job application to home Depot about a week ago should I head up to the store and ask if they received my application?

Part time jobs for senior citizens

I'm retired but would still like to work a day or two during the week to supplement my Social Security. My talents are mainly doing maintenance and assembly work. I have also done cleaning and floor care. I'm friendly and polite with customers.

I applied for a cashier position at my local Home Depot and because I applied before and I decided not to go for interview (I called and cancelled) I’m wondering if that will hurt my chances of getting another interview?

They say threes a Charm..

This is my third time applying to Home Depot, the first two times I went to all the interview did really well and got offered the positions I applied for and how much I was starting off with. Now the problem is getting in contact with the managers, the first time I had to apply to the cashier position so I can start my background check; she gave me her card just in case I have trouble. Now I had applied and was letting her know, I couldn’t reach her. The second time I got an interview for the cashier position for part time once again everything went well. The problem was reaching her again because the guy who interviewed me wanted her so she can tell me about my background check and when can I start, once again couldn’t reach her. So this time I applied to two different ones, now if anybody worked there was it this hard getting in contact with the managers or is it a normal thing?

False accusations

A fellow associate has falsely accused me of something and has gone to the manager with this. It is strictly his word against mine, with no witnesses. I feel sick. I have requested the manager review any cameras that may have been recording at the time. What can I do in a situation like this? I've got a 7yr. clean track record on my side yet I believe the manager is seeking advice on how to move forward from this point on. I have done no wrong and refuse to own any of these accusations. What now?
