Right now I'm out of work I'm looking for dishwashing position maybe fast food for restaurant I got very good experiences I do a little cooking expediting

I have applied to many positions online and in person
I already have 2 side jobs but would like to be hired to a more productive position

Staying positive and taking steps forward until you get a job
I see a couple posts one was a dishwasher what experience you need. I believe being a dishwasher in a restaurant is probably one of the hardest jobs and a position that should get more recognition. Most restaurants need good dishwashers that will show up if you’re willing to learn a guarantee you any Restaurant will train someone knew that doesn’t have any bad habits they can mold you and teach you the right way of how the dish pit should be ran you can be a rockstar if you enjoy that kind of work. I also see people sounding like they’re stressed out. You have the ability to land a server of bartender job or a Chef position but I’m hearing there’s no work for your qualifications. There’s work in every town all over the United States. I’ve always been able to fall back and become a server if I have trouble finding a different path I wanna go down the money is always great but you have to remember getting a job as a full-time job. You don’t just put a couple applications in and wait for them to call tend to show up more than their own staff when I put an application in. I want the management or owner to see how much I want to work there how much I’m dedicated to come in every day even if they’re telling me no. I know what I can bring to the table so I continue to show up after my applications been put in to let every Restaurant that I’ve applied to know that I’m interested until I get hired into one of them. Someone will see your worth and hire you. Sometimes it may take longer than others as servers. We know when you walk into a restaurant you can tell if they like you’re not and whether you have the job you just have to sell yourself. Stay positive everyone. I believe we all have better days coming to us. The industry always needs positive employees on their floor to keep their guests happy and restaurants need strong servers that can work well with others so keep that smile on stay positive and don’t let any negativity. Bring you down. Good luck to all. Have a wonderful new year 2026.

Is it worth staying at a job with a restaurant owner whose standards are too high and involuntarily doesn't seem to respect you when you're trying to do your job?
My current boss has been making me feel mentally exhausted and frustrated. This is my first job working at a bar, and I have no experience whatsoever. However, when prepping in the morning, they withhold their recipes (even though I'm prepping for night shift) and give me too many tasks to do at the same time. I understand it is fast-paced, but at the same time, they have to understand I can't be everywhere at once (there is only one cook in the mornings, which is me). But when confronting them repeatedly, with a missing ingredient for a dish, they proceeded to ask me about it even though it wasn't there. Then, they proceeded to make me clock out 30 minutes early without explanation, and they seemed frustrated.
This also happened the same morning when they were 1 hour late opening their own business, where I had proceeded to wait outside in the hot weather.
Is it worth it?

Unfortunately, some bsinesses take advantage of their new hires. You have to weigh if it is worth it or move on. If they are not giving you the ingredients to the dishes that is not cool in any way. They are hurting their own business. If this is the field you choose it is ok to keep looking for something else, it doesnt sound like you will learn anything there anyway.

No, it sounds like the restaurant supervisor is just trying to make it hard for you to do your job.
