Stolen ideas - no job offer

I little while ago I had an interview for a new marketing job. THe employer asked me to bring in some ideas for their website and some of their social media pages. I shared them all the while this guy was taking notes on what I said. I thought the interview had gone pretty well. Turns out I didn't get the job. Oh well, whatever. I just looked the company up again out of pure curiosity and noticed the ended up doing 80% of what I had mentioned in the interview!!! They completely stole my ideas and i got NOTHING for it! I'm so pissed this happened!

Multiplicity

How do you respond when an interviewer ask if you're interviewing anywhere else? I was ask this very same question during an interview for an Account Executive position and I instinctively responded with “nowhere”. My gut reaction was to show dedication to that one company but I think I may have underestimated my value. I didn’t get the job but I’m curious about other response options. I think this was one of the questions that blew my chances. What’s a better response…. (Yes) and mention other companies to show my value in the industry or (No) and emphasize my dedication, desire, and excitement to work for one company?

Good news!!

Found out you don’t need to be a college grad to get a great marketing job. My buddy recommends searching for entry-level sales jobs at companies first, then getting on-the-job training from marketers. Sales and marketing work really closely together, so it’s easy to transition from one career to the other.
