Another question! How are the first days of training like at dollar general? Is it computer work or hands on training etc?

On the 4th of October my application status was hired on that same day I did my I-9. I had to wait til Monday to be in the system. I looked this morning it's say application archived as of yesterday. What does that mean?

I have planned for the Dollar General by my house 4 * they are still looking for help. I have gone in and talk to the manager and he has even said there is nothing he can do until someone calls him about calling me in to hire me. What can I do to get hired for this job?

I'm tired of applying and not sure if they are even getting the applications. I really would like to hear something. I am 60 yrs old just looking for a small part-time job that is close to my home.
