Would you rather make more money OR have more time off when working for BNSF Railway?

It ultimately depends on your personal priorities and values. More money may provide financial stability and room for growth, while more time off could offer a better work-life balance. Consider what is most important to you in the long run. You can explore job opportunities at BNSF Railway on their official website or on job search platforms like Jobcase, Indeed, and Glassdoor.

I would rather have more time off now that I have a family. Being on the road 6 days a week and 1 day at home does not allow for much time with a family. Especially when most of your extra pay goes to the government in railroad retirement board and taxes. I wound up divorced after a 25 year marriage and my kids hardly know me. The railroad at that time didn't have any sick pay either.
