Honestly I started when my so was almost 5 and I told myself I’d move on when he was old enough to stay home alone he will be 30 this yr old I’m definitely spoiled I get my schedule 9 months in advance I’m office in the summer ( we collect unemployment) I’m off all the holidays some of which are paid I enjoy almost all my co workers lol and for the rate of pay it’s a minimal amount of work but… a lot of responsibilities so you have to way that out
