Why? Because for the last several years I was a caregiver for my In-laws, my father, and then for my husband. Everyone is gone and I need to support myself with a better income, for my future. I’ve always enjoyed working with people.

Hi, my name is Judith Gottschalk, I have had a couple of long term Careers My last one I was a Gem Wholesaler for the Industry and my customers were Jewelry stores, manufacturers, and designers. I have a lot of customer service ability. I have been retired for 7 years. #workfromhome

What made you want to work for Social Security Administration?

The question was what makes me want to work for Social Security Administration? I have always enjoyed dealing with people from my big exposure to the public during my U.S.Air Force recruiting years in the Washington D. C. AND THE Waldorf, MD. Areas, I deal with high schools, 2 and 4 years colleges and recruiting not only enlisted but nurses and officers candidates. Why I even deal with t.v. and radio stations and made a few Air Force commercials during their public services time. After I retired I worked for city water drinking plants in Louisiana. I had to deal with problems with the drinking water and explain it to our customers satisfaction.

The most challenging part of working in At Home Customer Service without speaking English would be the language barrier with customers. I recommend focusing your job search on companies that offer customer service roles in your preferred language, such as Spanish. Consider looking for job opportunities on websites like Jobcase, Indeed, and local job boards that may offer positions that align with your language skills. ¡Buena suerte en tu búsqueda de trabajo!
