"Over Qualified"
I have been in nursing management positions for 9 years. I am not closed to management positions I simply do not want to be the only person on call who ever answers the phone.....that's another issue entirely......I have applied for non-management positions but am repeatedly told that I am over qualified. The major difference in me being in a management position and others (some not all) being in management is that I continue to work the floor either to fill in or just helping out. I have learned by the expression of the staff that this is a unique quality. My question is how do I land a non-management position if I am "over qualified"......
I was told by several fast food companies I was over qualified. I was just so tired of traveling with my last job. But I I finally got one to hire me two years later in working at a top 10 fine dining restaurant in the A.T.L
HARD WORK WILL DO WONDERS.
I was in nursing for 20 years. Loved it. Nursing is a continuous evolving field, the more you learn the better you are. Try temp agencies. They offer a large variety of work

That's a great question I actually have 3 college degrees and I worked for 6 months and a grill at a certain fast food restaurant doing all the grunt work that I hadn't done since I was quite a few years younger I was honest with them know about my education in my background just told them that I had a passion for what I was wanting to do and like I had stated I started Tuesday at one of the finest restaurants in Northeast Georgia confidence is key you get there you'll get it figured out just keep applying for jobs I think I went to like 20 different places before I got hired there feel free to give me a holler anytime nice to chat with you good luck
