Pay back unemployment?
#SouthCarolina is asking Pandemic #Unemployment recipients to send in proof of employment prior to receiving benefits or PAY BACK UNEMPLOYMENT back through December 2020. Do you think that's fair?

yes what about the people that have been working this whole time for way less. If u really needed the money because you got laid off because of covid then you shouldn't have to do anything but anyone else should because if that's the case give to every American we all are struggling everyone. People just are greedy and don't care about anything but themselves

It's because of all the fraud that was allowed to run rampant...Florida is one state that couldn't even handle all its unemployment benefit claims during this ongoing pandemic...You've probably heard of the guy in Miami that used his assistance money meant for payroll to buy expensive toys..

Very wrong indeed

If you are on employment, you should not have to pay back anything, if the reason for the unemployment is not your fault.

Yes it is fair if you committed fraud or the employer appealed and won the appeal many times by showing you quit rather than being fired or laid off. They not gonna take your money you just won't get future UI until it is taken from that or paid off. Fraud usually is working while on UI and not reporting it.

Good luck with that frame of mind. we all will end up paying back money for all the stimulus that was pushed out the door as well as unemployment benefits.

I do not think you should have to pay back the unemployment that you got during covid-19 due to job shortages and closings.

I disagree

Someone finally listened and is look what they did in Florida Florida since yesterday at the drop of a hat when Governor Santos said he's going to stop unemployment boy the next day you know Florida starting to boom with workers what's up with that
No, I don't think it is fair to have to pay back unemployment if you needed assistance to begin with.
