Gina , my felony is 25 years old. I never fessed up to it on any application I've ever filled out. Infact 2 years after the "felonious" deed I started work at a company that I worked with for 19 years . I know things are a bit different now but unless a job actually finger prints you they can't see details on your past.

Try Goodwill stores. They do not look at that record. I worked for awhile with a young lady who had been in prison. They hired her as a cashier.

Hi @Gina Furra , job options for ex-offenders are limited as most companies are not as transparent with their second chance hiring practices. The Gordmans store in Center, TX is looking for Custodian/Stockroom Associates. This might not be an ideal job opportunity for your work experience and background but it may present a chance for you to get your foot in the door and start building a solid work history.

Take a look at the job details at https://cta.cadienttalent.com then submit your completed online job application as soon as possible if interested. Good Luck!
