just like any fast food job cruel. some food places i worked for knew they can always replace you or hire new people so the disrespect would be off the chain.

I don't think any retail business will be 100% a positive working environment. There are too many personalities. When people are promoted to a managers position some turn into another person that becomes an uninviting work environment. Always remember everyone in all positions is only a worker for a company and can be let go at anytime. All you can do is accept a job and hope for the best. Show up and work, don't call out and don't let them know much about you. If you don't like your job after time look for another job while working and don't let anyone know. The next job will have the same issues just different people.

Currently working at a burger King first week was great and I took on drive though, I'm a slower then average learner which I can't help. I saw my schedule posted for next week the other day, working 16 hours between two shifts. When asked about getting more hours management said it's based on performance. We have a high call out rate and I'll be posting a note with my number today on the board saying that I may be able to cover you're shift if it doesn't conflict with my other job.

Horribly your hardly trained on anything management is a joke and they over work you! Two years in a row and they wouldn’t let me take my brothers death day off to remember him and celebrate his life with friends and family! You don’t even get breaks and it’s shitty pay

Probably cruel because they now have to multitask! They don't hire the amount of people they should. It's all about multitasking as much as possible. ALL restaurants do this now. It's all about "team work" to get the job done as less money as possible for the franchise or restaurant. I think the blame is to computers that now do the math of not only cash but the "what IF" problems to save money for more profits.

It is not how Burger King treats it's employees, it is the manager or district manager that makes or breaks the job!

Seeking Remote Work Opportunities

I believe every work place treat their employees differently. Either way, everyone should be treated with respect. Just go in, do the best you can, and work your way up as far as you can. It's a good start. You never know, it may be the best decision you've ever made.
