Practice answering the questions as much as you can. It helps you feel confident and comfortable during the interview.

Just take a deep breath and remember to be yourself and don't pretend to be someone else. And always think positive. And you can do it. Thank you

Be prepared and KNOW you are prepared. Have your updated resume ready. Have your questions listed. Have previous work samples to show. When they ask "how is your Excel?" show them your spreadsheets. Thoroughly investigate the role, who the manager is. Some managers have bios online that you can read. On the day of the interview, make sure you are appropriately dressed and look your best. Be there 10 minutes early. You can always wait but if you are late, they won't want to wait for you. Walk in with a smile on your face and a spring in your step like you've got this. Be confident. Shake hands firmly (if they still shake hands.) Look them in the eye. Use their name at least once during the interview, such as, "Mike, what was the most challenging event that took place here in the last five years". People LOVE it when you use their name. During the interview, write notes. It makes most managers crazy if someone comes in and nods and nods but doesn't jot anything down. After the interview, thank the person for their time. Say it was very interesting that point they made about such and such. Let them know that, not only did you LISTEN, you internalized what they said and you were impressed. Then leave the same way you came in, with a smile and a spring in your step. You can FEEL confident (that is, NOT NERVOUS) if you have thoroughly prepared!!!
