Be thankful for the small things

I have something on my heart that is weighing heavy and just need to get out. 2 months ago I became homeless. From living in a home for 7 years to living in my vehicle. I am a mother and for the first time I was not able to provide presents or even a Christmas tree. Alot of people take things for granted, as I was one, but only when something like this happens that's when you realize the small things are so valuable, like cooking a holiday meal, or cleaning your home. No one knows when hard times my fall on them but the only thing I can say never take the small things for granted, for when you lose most of everything that's when you tend to realize how valuable something really is. To each and every one of you, I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Waking up to another beautiful day i am so greatful for....Thinking positively #cherish #smile #behappy #lovelife #merrychristmas

I am so sorry for you and your children. I don't know where you live but seek help from your state. you should not be living in your car. Your children need housing and food and clothing. This is America and no one should be homeless. Money goes to the wrong people. You need help. Contact Social Services.

I don't have anything to be thankful for! I am going to be homeless soon. Have spinal stenosis so had surgery. Recovery is 3 months. Can't afford to be off for 3 months.

I don't mean to marginalize your experience but we all must remember there are those whose lives are worse than yours. Be thankful for what you have and don't have, knowing things will get better while there are still many whose lives will never, all over the world. Why not star a non-profit for those who are in your very same predicament? Uplift others while uplifting yourself instead of feeling sorry for yourself as you sound selfish....
