So I was interview online via Google hangout for a home job and the person sent me a $2000 check to deposit online so I can buy my office supplies that I will need for the job, so after the check was available she asked me to deposit the $1900 to a different bank account and keep the $100 for myself, but I was a bit curious here, so what she was trying to do here is when I transfer the $1900 she would get the real money but after weeks when the bank realize that the check she sent me is fake I would owe the bank $1900... But I stopped at this point and didn't transfer any money i did some research and read a couple of cases like this and I just ignored the lady and now my bank found out that the check is fake and I didn't lose any money luckily. So don't trust anybody online and don't give out your information to random people you don't know.
This scam has came up at least 3 times on this site in the past month. These people are trying to hurt others that are looking for a job. People need to remember, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. If possible people need to give all the contact information to the bank or states attorney generals office to investigate, as this is criminal.
