Scam....
Good morning all: Below is an example of a definite job scam posted on ZipRecruiter:
Admin / Officer New York, NY 10007 Lucas Group Compensation$20 Weekly (plus commission) Benefits Offered Vision, Medical, Dental, 401K Employment TypeFull-Time Full Time admin position for small company. Must be organized and self starter. We need someone who likes being in small office environment, has good sense of humor and loves a variety of tasks that make the day go by quickly! It's a little of everything.
This is a classic example of a scam ad. Notice how there is literally no job description. What are your duties and responsibilities? What experience are they looking for? What industry are they in? The Lucas Group is a legitimate company with offices in New York, Boston, & Dallas and of course, they have no open positions as described. Lastly, as I usually do with ZipRecruiter, I clicked on the "All Jobs at Lucas Group" button and there were 50 additional ads posted for this position located in cities all across the country. Always do as much research as possible before applying for positions such as this.

I fell for it, embarrassing to say, with this company. I went thru an online interview, they offered me a position and because it was work from home they needed my address to mail me the computer equipment etc. When they started talking about sending an "associate" to my house, I cut communications, blocked them and reported it. Could have been a dangerous situation. I did not pay attention to the signs and there were plenty, like the person contacting me from HR was using a gmail account. I think if I had given them my bank account #s they would have robbed me blind.
