If a coworker took credit for your work, would you correct them in private or in front of others to set the record straight?

I wouldn't confront them because they will have to show consistency, while my work will show it self over time and people will notice the truth and they will have to answer for that truth in the most embarrassing way!

I would make ensure that my work will always verify itself, when I present and share with other co workers.

I would them aside and say, “Hey, I noticed my work was credited to you earlier. I want to make sure the record’s accurate.” By telling coworker that lets them know I am aware and this keeps things professional, avoids drama, and gives them a chance to fix it themselves. Managers notice who handles conflict like an adult.

In private, of course

I would confront them in private. To be honest it could be a situation where I would not even confront them. Receiving credit isn’t always necessary. Depends if they desperately need the recognition more than myself.
