Scared to work here now
I work as a medical assistant and honestly this is a VERY scary time for us all. I am considering changing my career. What can I do instead? I feel like my job is not just what I do but who I am. Please help!
Do what you love and the money will follow.
If you really love what you do, if you change from that to something else, you will not like your new job.
God put you in your field for a reason! You will save many people! I have faith that you will stay healthy, if you have faith in God!
Thank you for your service to the community! Have you thought about maybe leveraging your medical assistant skills and move into a customer service role, medical billing, insurance claims or case manager roles. These could allow you to use the knowledge you have in a different capacity.
Look into becoming a transcriptionist. You can work from home.
CMA/CNA are entry-level in the medical field. You could move in a different direction in terms of medical. Have you considered Mental Health?
