Stimulus Refund

I filed my 2019 taxes Feb 28th with HR block office. I have not yet gotten my stimulus check nor can the IRS website find my refund status. Has anyone else found this the case also? Note I am not getting a tax refund as I worked overseas all 2019 and paid no US tax under SOFA with Italy as a contractor. Does this possibly delay my stimulus deposit since I get no tax refund? #stimulus #CARES

Very odd yes. I have not gotten mine yet at 98 days after filing! Its said to be mailed to me since I don't get any direct deposit tax refund this year. Yet IRS website cannot find status of my refund online??

Did you see Trina Mcbride's convo. She also filed returns with H&R Block. She added an update with some news that may be helpful for you, see https://www.jobcase.com for more information.

Hey Josh, yes, I've heard other members express similar concerns/experiences. The feedback we've been getting back it that the IRS automatically released stimulus funds in the same manner as indicated on your most recent tax return.

Tax returns processed by third party companies like H&R Block are sent to a holding account that they use to collect processing fees before releasing the remaining tax refund fund to your account. Reach out to your H&R Block office and ask about your stimulus payout.
