Hoping for the Best!
I am in the same boat and feel I my job hunt/resume goes into a Black Hole. I was laid off in December '17 and unable to find a new position as of today. I have a Bachelor of Science and 10 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry. My confidence is at a low point and feel I am viewed as over or under qualified for positions I am applying for as I am trying so hard. There are no jobs to find anymore without having to apply online. I just got approved for a UCLA extension program so praying this will help update my resume..but really need to find a new job soon. It's crazy it's because they can pay the unexperience and dummies less ....these hiring managers then wonder why business is doing bad

I have r0 years experience as an administrator the last 17 years successfully running non profits and lost my job when they outsourced my position to an out of state management company. I'm reduced to working part time as an executive assistant at 30% of my previous salary with no benefits. They can't legally ask your age but they can ask when you graduated college. I'm at the point where I'm better off making less and getting an offset on my health insurance then working for more money for paying more for health insurance it's very depressing
