My First Job!
I’m 14. I am trying very hard to get my first job and fill out scholarships but I haven’t been getting very far. Can someone help my understand and get a job? It would help me very much! #firstjob #interview
The Cone shack hires at age fifteen, but DO NOT get drawn in. I have a friend who worked there and it is not a fun work experience at all. No one ever cleans the shacks, there is no wifi, you are required to take on at least 6+ hour shifts at a time, and most of that you are just sitting around doing nothing. The owner of the one shacks also threatens to fire anyone and everyone because he knows that it will scare them and they are too young to easily find another job at that age. My first job was when I was 14, I became a hostess at cracker barrel, a restaurant. It didn't pay much but I did give experience. People who are saying your too young is bs, you can get a job at 14 if you believe in yourself and don't give up.
