What do you do after job offer?
I'm had a interview received a job offer took my drug test did my background when do I follow up #interview #advice #followup

Renee Wooten: People will disagree with this but I would say: DO NOT FOLLOW-UP. You've had the drug test, etc., etc. Now the ball is in their court. They will follow-up with YOU. Keep in mind that drug tests and all that take time and don't stress. The BEST thing to do in the meantime is to keep looking for a job - YES, even though it appears 100% that you will be hired there - keep sending out resumés, scheduling interviews, ALL OF IT. NEVER, EVER "assume" you have it and rest on your laurels. What if they never call? It's possible. Whatever THEY do, YOU will be taking care of YOU by continuing to seek.

Maybe contact the HR Dept. to see if they have an actual start date for you.

Takes up to 4 days depending on when your results were sent to the lab

Only when they contact you! They may still be "checking you out! I would give them at least another week or two!

Background usually takes the longest all depending on we're u have lived.. other than that id give it a few days with a follow up call..

Resume work

The company can recheck every time for worker history.

Hope you get it, but not to be a downer, don't celebrate until you get the offer letter/call. Typically, today especially, companies will run backgrounds on 2+ eligible candidates of equal or close qualifications
The company should call you and set a starting date. Good luck with you new job
