I'm always willing to cross train in other departments, you never know if you ever to to apply within that department.

I believe it's good for everyone to know more than one job. It benefits the company as well as the employees for various reasons.

I would definitely change jobs so that I could learn a new skill and hopefully be able to help out a different department when needed. I think all positions should be cross trained.
