Disneyland is CLOSED!
Disneyland has closed temporarily due to the Coronavirus.
As a past elementary school teacher, my heart goes out to all those children who were looking forward to their vacations as well as their parents. It's a sad day when the most magical place on earth shuts down.
The park has only closed three previous times in history. Once in the wake of President's JFK assassination, the Northridge earthquake, and 9/11, but this will represent their longest closure in history.
Disneyland, however, is granting guests a refund and continuing to pay cast members during this time which I am sure is a MAJOR relief to those impacted!

Would you still risk a vacation or travel during the Coronavirus epidemic?
I am actually shocked that so many things are shutting down. My friend had to cancel her wedding. Is this for real??
WHAT?? That's crazy :( :( My parents are in Florida and they flew there and now they are driving back. They are scared to fly because of the virus.
If I bought my tickets and stuff I would still go on vacation. I know a lot of places that aren't letting you travel there tho like Italy.
