I share quite a few quote pictures but mainly if they have language others might be offended by it's set the post to only my friends can see. i keep my profile public because i share custody of my kids and we share pictures. My ex at any time can come to my profile and see what i have posted about the kids.

And this is why you should make it very difficult for them to find you. I have a fake facebook account with all fake info that I only use to sell things online. No Twitter, no Snapchat, and my Instagram handle is private and doesn't reveal that its me. I loathe the fact that LinkedIn has been crammed down our throats as the must have online profile. LI is GARBAGE used as a corporate monitoring tool. Oh no, how did the world ever function without HR twits being able to discriminate against people on LI without ever even meeting them. My LI account is fairly complete but I use a picture of a computer for my profile pic. If they don't like it they shouldn't be in HR in the 1st place and they don't have to call me - their loss. Also, we shouldn't have to post every detail of our lives on the Net to be employed. What happened to privacy? The only people on LI are in tech or sales. Do you ever meet a construction worker or somebody that works for the railroad with an LI account? Rarely, because we already have 100 job boards to look through. LI is utterly unnecessary and shouldn't exist in the 1st place.
