Remember, interviews are two-way streets!

Of course, an interview acts as an opportunity for a prospective employer to determine if you are a good fit for the role at hand. However, it is just as much an opportunity to decide if the company is a good fit for YOU.

I always encourage jobseekers to ask questions throughout the interview! That way, they can gather all the information they need to make an informed decision if they are offered the position.

What kinds of question do you suggest candidates ask during an #interview??

Yes definitely. I always ask about the interviewer's favorite recent project and about what someone else in the company has done that was a really successful project, and based on that I get ideas about what the regular work is like and what the company considers important. Both of those are important for fit!

I always ask, "what are the opportunities for me to grow here?" This can mean grow as in go up the latter of the company but also grow as in expand my skillsets and be sure that I'm constantly learning.
