Happy Friday Community!
As this week comes to an end so do my thoughts for the week. Sometimes when searching for a job it can be overwhelming?Taking the time to apply for a job(s) and waiting for the answer can be frustrating? Being out of work Isn't easy as we know?
Why not take time to network at your local Chamber of Commerce? Search your local Employment Agency and take advantage of the classes they offer? Most are free to the public and people in search of employment. Each month I try to take advantage of building my network by attending groups that post-meeting times on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram? Which leads to my next thought. Have you ever searched local groups on your Facebook page? You will find groups you can build your network with as I have too! Many groups are hosting a meeting where you can get to reach others and build your network!

Michael, you wrote some good advice.
I haven't really used Facebook to search for jobs, but I have used some other social media websites, liked Indeed.
All I can say is that you need to use an resource to help you find work. I think Facebook is a good resource to start with on the side. But please be wary of using Facebook since it seems to have issues with identity theft.
I think you should check with your local community job employment center. Depending upon the state where you live in, some states have websites like Facebook or Indeed to help you find work.

Ah ... music to my ears Michael Carvalho . Exhaust all resources! They're out there. Go find 'em. :)

Outstanding suggestions Michael Carvalho ! I'm actually going to tag Richard Gunkel on this message. He's been struggling in his attempt to find suitable employment. It also looks like he's been doing everything right according to his conversation Need help.
I invited him to a new recruiter group Ask a Recruiter...Anything! to get him connected with our career development and strategy planning pro's but I think he can also make good use of your alternative (outdabox) suggestions.
Please feel free to reach out to Richard Gunkel and offer him some of your insight. I'm sue he can use the Awesome encouragement. As always Michael Carvalho , thank you - Much Appreciated!!
Michael, I agree with you that your local employment agency might hold some classes. I registered for this one Small Business Bootcamp program that prepares you to create and manage a small business. Unfortuantely, the class is not held until the summer. But it is still a good resource.
Keep in mind that whenever you use Facebook, go to a job fair, or a local employment agency to keep documentation or logs of the jobs you have been applying for.
