So tired of getting let down...
For the past year, I've had awesome interviews that led to me getting hired. Unfortunately it also led me to have to quit just as quick. In job descriptions they describe days and times needed to fill the position (nothing out of the norm) then in the interview I ask again if those are truly the exact days and times and they claim it is. Then my first day on the job I'm told a COMPLETELY different schedule that is so far off that I can't work it! I tell them if that what was needed in the first place I would have never applied! They tell me "well this is what is required " WELL my question is why was that never told me even when I inquired??? I' was pretty much lied to! My one job told the day they hired me (in an email) is have to travel to Georgia (I'm from PA) for training! UM WHY and HOW WAS that left out in the description AND interview!!!??? Can places of operations get away with this? And what can I do to avoid this from happening EVEN when I ask during interviews??

How I am in the same stitch and I am now having a hard time finding a decent job

Keep at it a compatible job with the hours to match will surface.

This is not about deficient activity on your part. This is about poor communication between the HR department, Talent Acquisition Team, and the immediate supervisors. #keepgoing #keepclarifying

You poor thing. Unfortunately, sometimes it's learning by experience on what to ask in advance. I hate when they are so secretive about the pay, benefits, work place (desk area). I hate the games companies play. If any are interested in me & read this.

It's life hope you can adjust and work that job,of not well I guess it's back to looking for work.

I would call a labor and law lawyer and ask them they may have better service to help you.

It didn't work out,ok,are you going to start back looking?
Absolutely I'll keep looking, I have to work. My frustration is how can a job hire you for one thing, then when hired you're given a completely different schedule. I got hired for a doctors office working 9-4. My first day I'm told my schedule is now 8-8. Never told or warned times might change or anything. I can't work those times and was told "you have to expect changes" .....there's just lack of communication and clarification. No ones on the same page, disorganized and I had to walk away. Very frustrating and when I reach out I get an apology and "we'll keep you on file for when something else pops up" that doesn't get my job back or pay my bills. It just doesn't seem right especially when I attempt to clairify all their information during the interview
