Looking for a Web Developer Job in FTW, TX
Hello, this is Kevin. So I'm actually 20 years old(I'm not sure if it is because of that) but I've been looking for a job in the web development industry and so far I get nothing or I just get people to call me, have a little chat and from there I don't ever get a call again.
I have tried indeed and most of the jobs that I know I'm fit are like 2-3 hours away!. I mean is not that I can not go and work there but you got to understand I'm still 20 years old I don't even live by myself, I can not afford to use my car that often specially because it is expensive. So come on, I'm just want a job in FTW area!.
I have experience in PHP, CodeIgniter, Laravel, WordPress(self hosted version), I know how to create responsive websites(Bootstrap, Materialze),etc; in case I don't know something the job is asking me for, believe me I will try to learn as much as I can at that same day/night! just to be able to keep up.
Thanks for reading my post, I'm just a bit frustrated.(I'm a "dropout-college-kid").
I forgot to mention that I hold the Comptia IT Fundamentals certification and I'm still working on my second test(220-902) to get the Comptia A+ certification.
