Job search
I'm looking to move into a career in my area of study. I obtain my bachelor's degree in human resource management in 2015. However I'm struggling finding a job because I don't have experience as a human resource manager. But I do have responsibilities in the field as a store manager pertaining to recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training employees, payroll among other things. Any advice?

Excellent question Ruamah Benoit ! It hasn't been so long since you graduated with a degree in the related field so it looks like your in good shape there. Your Management skills and experience should also transition nicely into job opportunities within the HR industry to make you a strong candidate for the right job opening.
Did you already update and optimize your resume to reflect your Management experience? Are you landing interviews but not getting hired or does it feel like your application information isn’t attracting enough attention from hiring managers?
You should connect with Karla Sieg and Marijoy Bertolini who are excellent information providers and networking resources in this community. Marijoy Bertolini has extended HR leadership experience and is senior leader on the Jobcase Team team.
Your on the right track but don’t stop exploring how you can get your foot in the door. Reach out to these members and network for opportunities. Hope all is well.
