I'm a 65 yr. young man now out of work like millions are in this crisis. I hope like all that we can all get back to normal very soon. I'm scared.

Office Mgr at Self Advocacy Assn Of Nys

I know all to well.and I am so depressed and scared. I’m over 60 work full time because I have to and thank God so far healthy. I was laid off because of office closure and no guarantee of my job upon return. I was the only one laid off. I will lose everything. I look everywhere for a decent job. I don’t know what to do.

I pray that all goes well. I don’t think that we will ever go back to the way that it was. So many people has lost their jobs. We are in a state of depression. On the other hand, new jobs might be created as a result of what has happened.

Just hang in there and keep posting for jobs. I was able to find a job by applying through glass door web site. Let family and friends also know that you are seeking employment because you can get some good leads from other people.

Just My Perspective

Hi Marvin, It isn't easy being 65 in this day and age, people are living longer and are working gig jobs, delivery jobs, what ever to produce much needed income. Do you go to AARP and check out resources available for senior community? As well as other senior resources, speak to a counselor or religious clergy that may give you some reading that will strengthen your resolv, hope this was was helpful in some small way
