And some other advice you don't always have to be a leader you don't always have to to try to look like you know you are the best and what you do you can be the guy in the back just doing your job exceptionally well and somebody say who is that guy back there you know man he knocks this stuff out every week you know with no issues with no complaints never late always on time and that guy that's always trying to be the leader and take control and what not what not be left standing where he is because you're going to take his position that guy in the back

Developing and enforcing SOPs for all aspects of food preparation, handling and service to ensure consistency and safety. Communicating to employees the company's agenda with expectations for each employee so they have up to date information and feel like a part of the company instead of just an employee. Show enthusiasm for your employees and give them compliments when you see safety being used whether it's taking temps, doing ice baths or labeling product be sure you know they are practicing these requirements for the establishment to run and stay open. It helps to make the employee feel appreciated and noticed. Keep your eyes and ears out for anyway you can introduce better safety measures or updated requirements by local and or federal safety laws. Be a visual force in the company. Show yourself and be vigilant in your training of employees. Advancement comes with knowledge and experience so get as much as you can of both.
