Worried about them
Real worried about my folks. They are in their 70's and I am nervous with this virus. They also live across the country. I told em the best thing they can do is get their groceries delivered, wash their hands and not go out and talk to the neighbors. Anyone else worried about their parents? I can't be the only one.
Same situation!! I think you gave them the best advice possible. Many grocery stores are also running senior shopping hours, so you may want to look into that. While I can't help my parents, I am doing the grocery shopping for my in-laws, which at least allows me to help someone. If you have the ability, maybe help out older neighbors in your area to pay it forward? And don't forget to call or vid-chat them - a good conversation is sometimes just as comforting!!
Nathan, I am ..like your folks....old and far away from my sons. I am being very careful, heeding all the warnings and being very very careful. 18 days now, I’ve not been out, nor had anyone come in. I order groceries and wipe down every single bag, box, and can before I touch it. And same wipe down with mail that arrives. I am connected with my church on line. Please just take care of your self and know that God is at at our side.
