I just did not get any recognition for holding down the building without a maintenance person or an administrator for over a month . I all so worked over 90 days straight to give adequate RN coverage in the building. Even though I was an interim DON at 3 buildings the opportunity for me to attend the DON bootcamp was blocked by another administrator and the nurse executive in Florida. I never felt as if I was adequately trained or anybody said you did a great job . Then an underling with a title spouted out some untruths about me on an open call and I was just done . No investigation ,nothing. I was trapped there without a raise that was promised and I could not leave because they would have said I abandoned my patients to the state board . I also in good conscious could not have left the new administrator who just arrived in that manner . This was also around Christmas , I couldn’t work extra anywhere because of being on call 24/7. This was a terrible Christmas for us , very unlike the big raise I was promised .
