I was graduated in 2015 with Medical Assistant program included Phlebotomist and EkG Tech certificates. I didn't find any job yet in these fields. Even I had recently take my certification for Medical Assistant through AAMA and Phlebotomy certificate through ASCP. During my Medical Assistant program our Professors always encouraged us that there are so many vacancies in this field and by the end of 2016, the demand for Medical Assistant will increase. But I don't see any of these. If some positions are available it is for bilinguals, young candidates or someone born in US not for the candidates came from foreign countries or candidates with age group of 35 to 45. Mostly they hire someone by referral and if you don't have any solid referral then good luck to you!!!!
