Filing for Unemployment in Maryland due to COVID-19
Hi Marylanders! If you live in Maryland and are without work due to the coronavirus epidemic, you can immediately apply for unemployment benefits, even if your business closed only temporarily.
If you’ve been laid off, you can immediately file a claim through phone or email or by submitting an application online. Unlike other states, Maryland has no waiting period to file claims, so claims can be filed right away.
You can apply online or by phone. More information here: https://www.dllr.state.md.us/employment/officenum.shtml #coronavirus
