I also relate better and am more accepting to suggestions from other members personal experiences.

This message is probably less than 1 minute long but it's packed with some hard core truth.

Yes, it does help. My son and I are living with my parents, and I hear them talk at night, and it hurts... The job market is not like it was, it is not set up the same way, and it gets frustrating, I was getting in my 4 applications a day and doing great, then they cut the internet... so now I got to McDonald's and check my mail and get my applications in, I can keep an eye on them with my phone, but I don't have the internet connection some would like me to have to get things done. I heard my mom on the phone saying i am not trying, can't find a job if you are not looking for it. I was so mad... I have a seizure disorder, an autistic teen, taking care of my parents, and trying to find work without a vehicle. One question is do you have reliable transportation. It's just never ending. Gotta love the where did you live, I have had 8 addresses in the last 2 years alone. We are trying to function here and it is not working.
So i come here and strategize how to get things done and working so I can function. Job case is a life line for success for me.
I can relate. It gets depressing, u look & apply & apply. U get no responses or negative ones. Then others think it's u and just don't understand what the job market is really like. And I'm so tired of hearing the only real way to get a job is to network but you still have to know somebody first to network with to get it started. Whatever works to get in a better mood. It's a struggle. Daily affirmation or quotes can help. The secret of getting ahead is getting started. — Mark Twain Something will break, it has to!
