Is there hope?

After being downsized from my last fulltime position over a year ago, I'm beginning to wonder if I'll get hired for anything more than a warehouse labor position. Does anyone else here get the feeling that "ageism" is preventing them from working more than a "side hustle", "gig" or an "under-employing" job? #jobsearch

Oh! Yes, I know I’m being “profiled” due to my age. When you state that you have a bachelors degree, and THEN are asked what year you graduated high school?!? You KNOW their ulterior motive! When applying on line for certain positions (?)I’ve actually portrayed my HS grad year as 13 yrs later than it is: And BOOM; I started getting invitations to interview When I put I my actual grad year (?) it is a definite factor. for those commenting about sprucing up your resume, don't assume you have valid input unless you are 55 or older.
