Older workers.
I can’t speak about others but I know that I can be loyal to a company providing that the pay and the benefits are good of course! Most importantly I believe in a good days work for a good days pay. I can work alone or in a team. I’m very kind and respectful towards others. Plus I may be able to add some past experiences to a new job that could save in cost, or improve safety or ego issues.
Company don't care about loyalty
I always take pay and benefits into consideration before I accept an offer. I have years of experience and do not feel it should be offensive to anyone that I choose to take a position only if the pay and benefits fill my needs.

You just said that you can ONLY be loyal depends on the benefits and a good pay. So by nature, you can’t be 100% loyal, because your loyalty is depending on how you will be compensated. A good citizen shouldn’t be like that. its just a simple act of being a human. How come so many people here believe that they've been discriminated against because they are over 50? 50 is still very young !
I'm personally baffled by this belief.
And if it's unfounded then you're probably sabotaging these jobs yourself by being the part of the aged and unemployed population.
