Lab Assistant at Goodwill Industries

computer lab assistant

I am currently working in a transitional job as an assistant instructor in a lab workshop for goodwill industries, as an, opportunity to create a work history and point of reference so that I maybe able to procure a more permanent and stable employment. My current situation is that I am a Ex- offender with no work history who has paid his debt to society for the crimes that i have committed. I am a former drug dealer, I am not a violent individual contrary to the belief of most people's perception. I did what I did to provide and take care of my family I do not use this as an excuse to condone my actions , I am fully aware of my wrongs and I take full responsibility for what I have done, but that's the past. How do I move forward? If I'm never given the opportunity to do so. I do not wish to return to my former lifestyle, but when does my punishment stops? I just don't feel like I live in the land of OPPORTUNITY. I need help someone please?
