I have a prior felony conviction of the least degree (theft) from 2007. My sentence was 1 year probation, which I completed without incident. It was not a problem until I lost my job recently and had to start filling out job applications. I work in healthcare and made good money. Whenever I mention the felony, any interest in me as a potential candidate seems to disappear. Any suggestions/ comments that may help me? Thanks.
