Pre-Service Coordinators - Detroit, MI

Licenses and certifications: MI License, RN, NLC Skills: ICD10, Medicare, Medicaid Minimum education: Bachelors, Associates Years of experience: 3+ years

Overview This is a remote opportunity The candidate must live in Michigan with an MI RN, PT or OT license and be okay with 5 weeks of training in Nashville TN (NO Exceptions)

In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing pre-authorization requests for skilled nursing and rehabilitative services and determining if requests meet medical necessity for the requested level of care. You will also coordinate the transition of patients from the community or acute setting to the post-acute setting while following established facility policies and procedures.
