Could I get an interview at Walmart if I simply walked in, ready for an interview, ask for the Hiring Manager, and even possibly get the job?

I applied at Walmart about over 2 or 3 months ago, and haven't received a call from anyone. About a week ago, though (thanks to @Lawrence White) I made a call to Walmart to talk to one of the associates that would help me get a job. She told me that a guy named Steve would call me to schedule an interview later that week, but never did he call. What should I do? I'm getting so sick and tired of Walmart saying they'll call me soon about the job, but they NEVER do! Can I get some advice, please? I really need this job, and I'm kinda losing my patience with Walmart... #followup #advice #interview

First did you pass the assessment at the end of the app? If so call the store you wish to work at...ask for someone in personnel. They're usually the ones who pulls apps and sets up the interviews. It also helps if you know someone who works there....they can also ask personnel to pull the application. I hope this helps you.

I walked into Walmart at the customer service desk asked to speak to a manager had an interview with Jordan after completing an extensive application on line he offered on the spot and I accepted and immediately started receding text and email background checks was told it takes about 3 days sure enough cleared in 3 business days went back to the service desk to confirm with Jordan and he had quit and moved back to his hometown so iI had to wait until they replaced him to onboard an immediate hire ended up taking four weeks but aggressiveness does pay off

you cannot simply just walk in and demand a job. you have to fill out a application directly on their site like everyone else and pass the tests. than you can call to ask to follow up on your application but no nobody can help you get a job at walmart. you can however apply for other jobs as walmart is not the only job out there.

If I were you, I would apply for a lot of jobs. There are stores with a similar concept to Walmart. You should apply all of them! Don't ever hold on to the one job application. Then, you can always reach out to Walmart for your application status.

Go elsewhere and get a job. Why waste your time on Walmart? Go get a real job.

Apply to CostCo, instead. WinCo is also hiring (Sanitors), glorified janitors,@$18.00 an hour to start. It's mostly just trash pick-up in the warehouse and spill cleanups in the aisles. But it's honest work.

You want to set up an appointment with Steve or visit the HR department. What do you have to lose at this point? Good Luck.

I would call and ask for Steve and tell him you were told he would be calling to schedule an interview but unless you missed the call, you didn’t get it so you wanted to make sure he has the correct phone number and see about going ahead and scheduling it.
