It can be incredibly daunting trying to find a new job or trying to bounce back after losing a job you had for many years, but I've found that commenting, posting coversations, and just talking to people here on Job Case has been an enormous help! How do you recover from getting fired from a job you only had for a month.

What you just had mentioned should inspire others to tell something that they have achieved and worked hard for so that many could understand how grateful they become.

This should inspire people looking for a job. Good thing they have. Keep Trying until you get something.

Just reading the words "You're stronger than you think" made me brighten up. I've been down for a long time and those words blessed me.

Sometimes it is the other side who should be grateful. Oh yeah, say that and, you are probably fired.

Thanks, Ashley...the Holidays really bite it when you are out of work...commercials talking about spending money, interviews drying up, end of year parties at employers and the sneaky, end-of-year budget-driven layoffs. As a community, we are certainly hungry for more stories of inspiration...especially the under-employed, the older, the darker skinned, the less-educated among us...those who keep getting passed over and lose confidence.
